Save Time and Energy with Mobile Device Support

Have you ever needed to help your colleagues, customers, or employees get things done with their mobile device?

It’s time consuming and complicated to explain remotely what to do and where to click. Often it leads to misunderstandings and frustration along with not even solving the problem.

Thankfully, there’s help at hand to resolve these issues. With TeamViewer, support for mobile devices can be as successful and easy as providing support for PCs.

While the Screen Sharing SDK deals with providing support directly to a user in-app, you can provide support to an entire mobile device by connecting to the TeamViewer QuickSupport app.

Mobile Device Support with TeamViewer

Stay in your supporting routine

By using mobile device support with TeamViewer, you can connect to any mobile device running iOS or Android, and even remote control Android devices.

This way you can, for example, help users with setting up their Bluetooth connection within the operating system settings of Android and/or guide users through a workflow within your own finance app on an iPhone or iPad.

The experience of using mobile device support is similar to any other TeamViewer connection and provides features like:

  • Remote control
  • File transfer
  • Chat
  • Push & pull of settings
  • Detailed device information

Simply by entering the device’s TeamViewer ID within your TeamViewer full version (on Windows, Mac, or Linux), you can connect to the QuickSupport app as easily as connecting to a Mac, Windows, or Linux computer.

Why don’t you guys offer a license for the regular shmoe like me? I don’t use Teamviewer for a company nor an IT department – I just use it for personal use between laptop and home cpu, to help my relatives and friends with tech support….non-business stuff.

I love your product – but not $749 worth.

Hi David – thanks for your message. At the moment full remote control on iOS is restricted by Apple. However, you can support iOS devices for example using screenshots and chat messages. You’re also able to view device information and transfer files. I have forwarded your request internally. Please note we cannot promise if and when remote controlling iOS mobile devices will be supported.

    Hi Team Viewer,
I use this application all the time between several stations and countries. One feature I quiet like is the capability of instant voice communication. I can also activate the other device mic and listen in on the conversation from my windows based laptop. However I cannot activate the mic of the target station via my android cell phone nor my IPad. Is the capability there at all for these mobile devices?
