The TeamViewer Blog Comment Policy

The TeamViewer Blog is very lucky to have an engaged, knowledgable, and respectful community. We would like to thank everyone who puts time and effort into writing comments on our posts.

We greatly value your input, and we’re dedicated towards creating an open, useful conversation in our comments sections.

Your ideas, suggestions, and feedback are always appreciated, and go a long way towards our ability to serve you better.

It’s our objective to promote a comments section that adds value, takes the post’s topic into new areas, and opens the door to further learning for everyone.

To that end, we kindly ask all commentators to follow a set of ground rules, which are supported by our blog’s moderators:

Civil and enjoyable. Let’s keep the conversation respectful, polite, and helpful. Personal opinions are absolutely encouraged. However, any form of harassment towards a post’s author, or other commenters will not be displayed on our site.

Be yourself. In the interests of promoting a truthful, transparent, and valuable conversation, comments will not be displayed from anonymous sources. Let us know your opinions and thoughts.

Keep it relevant. Conversation works best and is at its most valuable when everyone speaks about the matter at hand. Please keep comments related to the topic of the post – or relevant tangeants which take the conversation into valuable areas.

Product support, feedback & suggestions. We pride ourselves in providing support, and in listening to feedback and suggestions from our users. We will display all product-related comments, unless they contain personal information or relate to an individual support case. In such cases we will recommend commenters submit a support ticket.

Promotional comments. If a comment is deemed too promotional, it will not be displayed. This includes, but is not limited to, using brand or product names as a first name, or including promotional links such as affiliate links.

No spamming. We will not display any comments deemed to be spam.

Moderation. All comments are moderated before being published. While we do our best to ensure comments are moderated and displayed as quickly as possible, we ask for your patience and understanding if your comment takes some time to be displayed on the site.

We reserve the right to remove any comments from the site.
